A new format for creative digital education

At Megamod, we see powerful synergy between our platform and the world of education. That’s why we’re opening up opportunities to co-create Megamod Young Game Lab — a next-gen learning experience where kids and teens dive into game creation, teamwork, and digital storytelling using the Megamod platform.

Megamod is an ecosystem for game creators, players, streamers, and brands — redefining how games are made, shared, and experienced. Since launching our no-code game editor in 2023, we've empowered over 5,000 creators to build more than 85,000 multiplayer games. Recognized alongside Roblox and Epic Games at the 2024 Mobile Games Awards (Best Engine/Creation Platform), we’re building the future of game-based engagement. In 2024 we launched StreamPlay — a toolkit that lets streamers control gameplay live, trigger interactive modes, and host in-game events. Our multiplayer games accommodate over 500 players in a single shared space, making them ideal for large-scale sessions. This transforms Megamod from a game platform into a new space for live, interactive entertainment.

Now, we’re inviting educational companies to partner with us in adapting our tools and experience for youth audiences — creating a space where young people don’t just play games, but build them.

What is Megamod Young Game Lab?

Megamod Young Game Lab is a concept for a flexible, scalable, and inspiring online educational program that can be run by your organization. It's not a coding course — it’s a creative game design lab where learners work in small teams, explore game mechanics, invent new worlds, and present their projects live.

We envision the Lab as a series of weekly sessions built around mini game jams. Each meeting starts with gameplay analysis — students test levels created by real Megamod creators and reflect on what makes them engaging. Then, under the guidance of a tutor, the group designs their own game using the no-code Megamod editor. By the end of each session, the game is playable — and students can test, tweak, and iterate in real time.

In every group, students take on different roles:

🎮 Gameplay Designer

🧩 Level Architect

🎨 UX Thinker

🧪 Tester

🎙️ Stream Host

📣 Producer

It’s a team-based studio simulation where learners build digital creativity and real-world soft skills: collaboration, product thinking, ideation, storytelling, and communication.

This is a suggestion: Every team could also learning how to promote their games and organizes an open game stream once a month, inviting their friends who love games but are not yet part of the Megamod Young Game Lab, to play together in the games they’ve created themselves.
